"St. Augustine Education Center": Another 1.000 Euro have been raised

Just before Christmas another Euro 1.000 have been raised thanks to engaged donators, mainly parents and friends. Michael has inspected the construction site of the new school and he confirms that works are ongoing and the ground floor is well advanced. But of course some additional funds are still required. The school activities on the current site were luckily extended to March 2018. Hopefully by this time the first floor can also be finished by February 2018 and pupils can move to their new school. St. Augustine Education Center is providing education to many vulnerable children in the slums of Kihunguro and Gitambaya 40 km outside of Nairobi, in a holistic and loving way as well as in a sustainable manner. Since the lease for the land on which the school was built will end in 2017 and cannot be prolonged, the school bought a new piece of land and started the construction of the new school in 2016.
