In 2010, the Social Entrepreneurship Akademie was established as a joint initiative by the four university-based entrepreneurship centers in Munich. Under the slogan „Education for societal change“ this unique network organization aims to educate social entrepreneurs and social changemakers.
The Social Entrepreneurship Akademie offers therefore an educational programme, provides support to social entrepreneurship projects and works to broaden the network of organisations that anchor social entrepreneurship within society. The main activities include a 2 years certificate on social innovation for students and professionals and the support of social startups through coaching and mentoring.
