Project mission

In Burkina Faso, beeswax is exported abroad as a side product of the honey production whereas the Burkinan cosmetics market only offers cheap goods of low quality from other countries. The goal of BEEautiful is to keep the value chain of beeswax within Burkina Faso by establishing a local natural cosmetics manufactory and thereby creating jobs for women.

Timeline

It has been a great pleasure for us to organize a joined lunch meeting for liaise teammates from BEEautiful (Enactus Munich) and TuaRes, both very active in Burkina! It's always good to share experience and best practice.
