Project mission

It is the School board's (of which iam the chair) desire to build a good basketball facility. The reason for choosing a basketball facility as opposed to other sporting activities is that the school does not have much grounds to cater for sports that require more space for example football. Indeed, the students are currently using the grounds of a neighbouring primary school to play football. The strategic objective of wanting to build a basketball complex is to provide, in addition to a place where the students can get some sport and exercise opportunity, a facility that can be used during sporting events involving other schools in the county so as to make the school a center of an activity which the students can be proud of. It is our belief that this will go a long way in motivating the students and stimulate them to do better academically. The impact of your assistance will therefore be two-fold, i.e. providing a sporting facility and improved academic performance arising from enhancing the students interest in school and self-esteem.
