Millions of people worldwide are affected by war and violence, natural disasters and famines. "Doctors Without Borders" is providing emergency medical aid locally. But how are patients treated under these extreme conditions? How to combat malnutrition and diseases such as cholera? How are vaccination campaigns carried out?
There has been an exciting open-air exhibition "In Action with Doctors Without Borders" in Munich (Germany) last week. As also a few ParticiPaiders attended, we had the opportunity to receive a look behind the scenes and to get in touch with original exhibits to illustrate how humanitarian aid operations work in crisis areas. Many thanks to those very nice teammates who guided us through the exhibition and told us about their personal experience.
